Last September 29-30, 2012 the Track & Field Italian Master Team National Championship was held in Novara. Two days with 17 events to find the National Champ Master Team.
And the winner is .... Atletica Virtus Castenedolo!
Trust me, it was a wonderful weekend, despite the rain on the first day and the organizational disruption; in the end, although the result of my 5000mt run is not one of the best (... definitely the best I could get right now...) the satisfaction of winning the title will remain one of the most meaningful athletic memories of my life (together with the win of the Italian High School Team Championship in 1991).
It has been a high level Championship, both for the results and for the participation (a lot of former elite athletes and even Olympians) and, at the end, we made it!
It was a team's victory, and for this reason let's give a round of applause to all the athletes of the Team (present or not in Novara):
