"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

Rev3 Run Rogue 5K - Fairfax Corner VA

Last Saturday we run the Rev3 Run Rogue 5K in Fairfax Center (Virginia), a race to help fund two charities, Life With Cancer and the National Brain Tumor Society.
The course was not an easy one, first mile slightly downhill then a couple of long climbs till the end ... not a course for PRs.
On the other hand, the weather was perfect for a spring 5k.

The idea to host the activities in Fairfax Corner Center was perfect; it proved to be a great location for a race, with lots of parking spaces, nice area in the plaza for the sponsor's tents, restrooms available in the Movie Theatre nearby.

Here the link to the results, and three videos (Race start, Mid Course and Race Finish). BTW, the two Pacers guys (Barresi and Viviani) run by themselves all the race ... they are of a different league ...

Finally, let me congratulate with Holly Jahshan, in her debut as Race Director everything was perfect from the pre-race activities to the awards ceremony. Well done!
