Crystal City 5K Friday (Race #4) - Arlington VA

Last evening it was goodbye time ... we ran our last Crystal City 5K Friday.
During the last 3 years the words April and Friday meant a 5K race in Crystal City. We ran all 12 races, with different kinds of weather, with different rivals, and with different levels of cheering crowd but with the same top notch organization by Pacers Events.
It was kind of sad to unpin the bib and to leave the finish line staging area, say hallo to our friends and walk back home knowing that next year the race will start without us ...


Enough sadness though ....
The race went well, this year I'm faster than ever at this point of the running season, nevertheless last night for the 3rd time in a row Bryan finished in front of me (3-1 for him on the series).
