"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

8^ Trofeo ARCI - Bonemerse (CR)

The "runner's summer" is over  .... Last evening we ran the last "night race" of the season in Bonemerse, a small village a few miles from Cremona (the race was part of the Comitato Podistico Cremonese series).

The course was 2 laps for ladies (less than 3 km) and 4 laps for males (it was closer to 5,4 Km than the publicized 5.8 Km). Excellent organization, as usual, I felt bad for the low turnout of runners ... I do not think the race-director deserves it.

As mentioned more than once, it's always nice to race at night through the streets of villages, with the applause and the odd looks of the people not used to watch, after dinner, men, women, elderly and children in a tank top and shorts .. .

Next Friday Evening race will be, most probably, in April 2013.... see you there!
