"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

Capital Ale House 10 mile - Hartwood VA

Great race down at Hartwood. We enjoyed it last year and we decided to try it again.
This year the course was a little different, we ran counter-clockwise and, with the addition of a trail path in the last mile, it was definetevely harder.
Well done to all the volunteers, the organizers, race director and the staff.
Nice award ceremony by the pool (cash prize for top 3 male and female), followed by a BBQ.
A nice beer glass was handed to all finishers.
Maybe the only down side was the start time (7:15) way too early.
Other than that great job everybody !!!
