"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

2^ Non Competitiva di S.Antonio Abate - Cogozzo di Villa Carcina (BS)

... long title for a short blog ...

It's pretty unusual in Italy to find a race scheduled on Saturday.
Yesterday we had a change to run a 8km in Cogozzo di Villa Carcina a small town few miles north of Brescia. The course, mostly flat, ran along the river Mella.
The weather wasn't great; it was humid and foggy when the race started (at 3PM) and by the time the last runner completed its 5 miles it started snowing.

Nicely organized, most of the amenities were granted (showers, parking spots, warm food...), but unfortunately few runners attended.
I'm pretty sure next year will work even better.
