Spring 5K - Hains Point, Washington DC

Less than 50 runners met last Sunday morning at Hains Point to run the Spring 5K, second race in the RacePacket Grand Prix Series 2012. 

The course is the usual flat loop around "East Potomac Golf Course", under the cherry trees just a few days after their full bloom ... actually due to the night rain it was like running on a carpet of pink petals ... beautiful.

It was a pity that so very few runners showed up, overall it's a nice low key race.
