"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

Country Road Run 5M - Olney MD

... well, it was cold ... freezing cold (temperature in the 20's) with some snow on the ground ... but it was fun!

Almost a month past since last race, and to run the scenic hills of Olney MD is a perfect manner to re-start competing.
So, disregarding the warnings of "The Weather Channel" we decided to drive north in order to go for a run.

Unfortunately, we were not able to make it to the start line in time (we started the race one minute behind the pack) but the travel was worthy.

I really enjoyed the race, from the start my aim was to pass as much runners as I could ... by the way I had no chance to win today considering the fast guys that showed up.

As usual the organization by MCRRC was excellent and, again, the course was really challenging.

Here the results.
