"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

George Washington Marathon by DCRRC - Greenbelt MD

But no we did not run the GW Marathon ... we volunteered at the water/Gatorade stop on the intersection between Beaver Dam Road and Springfield Road ... and overall we enjoyed it!

It's always nice and a rewarding experience to look at things from a different prospective (in this case a race from the eye of the organizer or the volunteer) ...

We were fortunate enough that Weather Channel was wrong, it was windy with temperatures in the 40-50's but there was no sign of snow as predicted.

Runners: Good Job!

Juggler in action ... for 26.2 miles!
