And finally we had a Sunday morning without rain !!!
Then, what's more enjoyable then running a race of the "Hinterland Gardesano" series?
Well, last Sunday we raced the first edition of a road race in S.Eufemia, a suburb east of Brescia.
The course was a mixed of dirt roads and asphalt, generally flat and approximately 11.4 Km long.
As always, no complaints about the organization, the marshaling, the final refreshments and prizes; in addition I particularly enjoyed the race pack which consists of a bottle of water, a sports drink and a small mat offered by the sponsor.... mind you, the overall cost was 2 Euro :-)
At the end, all thing considered (I had a rough week), I'm happy with my result (though nowadays it's getting harder and harder to make it to the Top Ten). I bet next Sunday in Moniga it will be better ... we'll see.
