"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

November Porc Hot Feet - Roccabianca (PR)

November is the month of the pig... and I mean the animal ... in fact, long time ago in rural communities killing the pig was the main event of this season; anyway, this afternoon's race was dedicated to the celebration of the pig.

The race started at 3pm on a beautiful sunny day, in the middle of a fair (centered around the pig, of course) in front of the fortress of Roccabianca (literally meaning White Fortress); the course went around the northeast wing of the castle, and continued through narrow streets and sharp turns towards to the Po River. After a couple of miles along the bends of the river we went back towards the starting point, entering in the courtyard of the fortress and finishing with a beautiful parade between two wings of cheering public !

The course is very nice, the logistics outstanding (great parking plan, baggage dropping areas, fast bib pick-up procedures) and the marshaling on the roads highly efficient.

Great job, very well done!
