"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

37° Caminada ai Garlec - Calcinato (BS)

Last sunday was marked by fog and mist.
We all met  in a small village called Garletti, near Calcinato (BS), for the traditional pre-Christmas race. Part of the Hinterland Gardesano series, the race was almost 10km (actually it was approx 6 miles long), flat and fast.

Trying to improve the bad performances of the past few weeks, I started out relatively easy, incrementing progressively the pace towards the end.

Well, all things considered, I'am very satisfied.

Here is the link to the results.

Low point: I wish we had some "guardians" in the parking lots, just like last week; unfortunately more than an athlete found the Christmas "surprise" (car broken into and "values" disappeared).... :-(
