"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

Kelvy's 5K - The Plains, VA

The Kelvy's 5K was held in the first real autumn day of the year (temperature in the 50's with chilly wind at the start).
The challenging course (out & back) started from Wakefiled School, nice school laid on top of a hill, continued with a steep descend, crossed the picturesque country town of The Plains and turned back ... now uphill ... of course....
Due to the misplacement of the turnaround cone, the course was more than a quarter of a mile longer than the announced 5 km; for this reason breaking the 20 minutes can be considered a good result today.

Too bad that tomorrow I will end my winning streak of 4 consecutive overall wins ... well, I will enjoy today's result   ;-)
