"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

Trail Run Black Hill 10K - Germantown MD

Today's race appointment was with the Montgomery County Road Runners Club(MCRRC) Cross Country Series 2011.
This series consist of eight count cross country races, or in some cases like today true trail runs, and you must run a minimum of four races in the series to qualify.

Today we ran the seventh race of the season (for me it was the fourth) in a beautiful and challenging 10 km within Black Hill Park. The course included crossing streams, avoiding protruding rocks covered by mud and leaves, and all you can think you could find in a trail run.

Here today's results, while here the 2011 Cross Country Series Interim Standings.

... I almost forgot ... MCRRC and volunteers were perfect as always! Hat's off !
