"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

30^ Passeggiata Sugli Argini Dello Strone - Pontevico (BS)

This morning we ran a 11,6 Km race at Pontevico, a small town (6600 ppl) twenty miles south of Brescia.
The start of the race was literally outside the stadium (and that leads always to solve a lot of logistical issues such as parking, bathrooms, showers ...) and the course after a couple of kilometers downtown continued along the banks of the Strone (the area surrounding this  small river recently become a naturalistic park).
Nice course, not easy, along a beautiful trail system that wind through mixed forest of oak, elm, linden and ash trees.

My race was not as beautiful as the surroundings ... I don't have more than 6-7 Km in my legs ... but I'm not complaining, better times will come soon.

Here's the results and here's some pictures.
