"Racing teaches us to challenge ourselves. It teaches us to push beyond where we thought we could go. It helps us to find out what we are made of. This is what we do. This is what it's all about."

Roosevelt Run 5K

Last night I run the Roosevelt 5K, a small race that takes place in one of the most scenic and representative spots of Arlington.
The start (and finish) is located near the Key Bridge in Rosslyn and the route(out-and-back) runs along the Mount Vernon Trail, on the banks of the Potomac River, past Theodore Roosevelt Island, Lincoln Memorial and below Memorial Bridge.
Just few participants but friendly and nice atmosphere and awards for almost everyone ...
The only flaw due to the massive presence of cyclists and walkers, as a matter of fact the trail is open to other users during the race.
The results available here
