Run! Geek! Run! 8K

The fourth edition of the Run! Geek! Run! 8K was held this morning at West Potomac Park in Washington DC.
The flat and fast route along the Potomac River (from Ohio Dr SW all the way to southern tip of H
ains Point and back), the nice temperature (in the high forties at the race start) and, for once, the lack of wind allowed excellent results.

Here the results (male and female) and the well-written and comprehensive article by James Moreland of Washington Running Report.

Minor flaws: the misplacement of the mile-markers and the awards limited to 10-year age group (the previous years it was done in 5 years increment).

The race was the eighth of the 2011 Grand Prix Series racePacket.
